  hi, I am new, God bless all.

  hi everybody.i am new to this forum.i have grown up as a christian in a christian family, but i recognized that jehovahs are more positive about peace on earth.

  i believe in peace on earth too.

  i believe in god and jesus and angels.

  Best quote ever RPT, what I should have done myself would of saved me lots of grief :

  After thoroughly learning what is (unscriptural) bullshit and what is not, you might come to the conclusion that is will be impossible to identify as a JW and go door-to-door. Telling religious lies to people is cruel and might lead those who are uninformed, mentally instable, sensitive or need structure and a goal in life to a point where they will be lurked into what just feels and sounds good without knowing about the long list of WT's scandals (including sexual/child abuse) failed prophecies, half truths, misquotations, intellectual dishonesty etc. By not becoming a "real" member you will protect yourself from risks involving a tiring routine which will cost you time, energy, money and sometimes your (mental) health, shunning, ban of blood transfusion, interference of elders, judical committees etc.

  Hello Daniel, you may want to look up Arne Jordly's bible commentaries. He is Norwegian like you and spent the last 25 years of his life writing and publishing Bible based commentaries. Not sure if he's still alive as I know he was having some health issues last time we exchanged a few years ago.

  Not a cult of any kind just an honest guy writing his thoughts down coming from a Lutheran background, 'studied' with JW and others. Maybe you find something or someone that can put you in touch with however took over his kindle account and go from there. Maybe promote his commentaries online if you wish. Just a thought good luck !

  working late tonight i just thought this up : whenever we used to hear someone say " so and so is not doing well spiritually™ " or "not doing well in the truth™ " what it really means is they aren't doing well climbing the wtbts's corporate ladder or doing their beck and call following the herd cult thingy.

  LHG : HA ! That former JW bike partner friend I had before 'Studying'™ would do same. First time he came over to my place he promptly did an asset rating and decided right then and there that for all the time I spent working and running my small business my house was not on par with my efforts. Then when I actually did start attending a congregation some people there thought I was a selfish single rich workaholic. At least they were right on two counts hehe ! ( single and workaholic ) They never were able to take that from me although the pointless busy work did wear me down to the point of a huge depressive burn out episode.. of course by then no one in sight to help asides from their time proven formula of suggesting more study, meeting attendance and field serve-us. What a stinking pile of crap it all was !

  When Lafontaine Hall was built in St-Jérome Qc. in 2006 one of the elders suggested taking out personal loans to cover the new build.. Not one of us knew that the hall would be eventually commandeered by the WTBTS.. I'm not sure the still in there even now know. Great vid Mike and Kim !

  That JW video YPA What Will I do With My Life : ABSOLUTELY HATED IT WHEN IT CAME OUT. Saw it for what it was worth back then, huge piece of WTBT$ propaganda. Was already doubting the org. at that point. Seriously frustrated me that vid. I down voted it above felt good, hehe !!

  As a matter of fact I never liked ANY video that they came out with, so much self serving propaganda and very little to do with faith.

  jw eloise dupuis (canada, quebec) died last year of a lack of blood and refusal of blood transfusions, while the familly and the jw propaganda machine said it was rather because of an infection.

  coroner says however we must respect her belief and there was no undue influence.

  below i set out the case that the jw demographic in usa has a steadily decreasing combined income, and as a consequence, has less money to donate.

  not only is the flock not growing, the flock is producing less wool for the borg to fleece.

  the GB's coup of the FDS

  i believe the gb's takeover of the fds was an illegal coup - not illegal relative to the laws of land, but illegal according to jw "laws" or doctrine.. according to jw doctrine, the fds is god's channel of communication between heaven and earth.

  before the coup, the fds was defined to be all the anointed on earth, and the gb was part of that group and merely the spokesman for the group - individual gb members having no more authority than non-gb members of the fds.. however, a few years ago, the gb, independently of the other members of the fds, decided that it alone was the fds.

  that, to me, was an illegal overthrow of the body (fds); it was a coup.. suppose the u.s. president decided that he has all power, and that he removed the powers of the u.s. congress.

  Magum PI : Thanks for the post, I copied and pasted it to an email I sent to a reactivated JW business owner in his early sixties. He found it interesting but has since shut down as he mentioned our conversation to an elder. Looks like he's thoroughly enjoying his newfound social circle - country club and doesn't want to jeopardise it by being honest and truthful in his researching of it. Of course he once mentioned to me that many JW's now seem well off compared to when he was growing up in the 'truth' as a kid. This guy even has 1914 in his personal business email. What a nut all social en everything, a real cut above us all.

  For sure LHG, yup he got out during the late seventies disco craze, did his thing got married kids and took over his dad,s hop I'm guessing as they've been established lon ago before he was of working age. Yes me mentioned to me a few years ago on how returning to the org he noticed how well off many 'appeared' to be. I'm guessing he noticed all the cleaning business owners with their large less noticeable pool of poor JW's... es him and his wife are having a ball in their new found social club. The guy's in full JW.org adoration mode and he even incorporates 1914 in his email address. Yes I bet you the cong. is happy to have some extra cash coming in from him.
